Are there power outlets on italian trains in economy class?

  1. It depends what you mean with "economy class"; on Eurostar, faster train if you plan to travel between main cities not close each other (Rome-Milan-Venice, for instance) do have power outlets and a fm radio for each seats; on Intercity trains outlets are available on 1 class, but not on all trains, etc.

  2. Hello,

    Not sure about economy class but I know they have them in 1rst class.  Depending on the length of the trip, you might want to pay the extra money for the bigger seat and power.

    We did when we went from Rome to Venice and back.  After we stopped in Florence the train was practically empty.  We ended up with 4 seats to ourselves.  The cost was 100 euros more than the 2nd class seats for the roundtrip.
