Delta operates a Crown Room Club (not to be confused with the former BusinessElite lounge) in Terminal 3 at JFK.  You can buy a day pass there for about 50 dollars (it might be up to 75 by now if the rumors I heard last week took effect).  There are no public showers in any terminal at JFK so this would be your only option =)

  2. Probably not, I've never seen a shower at an airport, and I've been flying since I was born!  If you've seen them at an airport before, then good luck!
