  1. There's no rats in airplane maybe cockroaches

  2. Recently ,  an airliner  was being serviced/cleaned in China. The cleaner discovered mice in a pillow storage compartment, and they had to call in an exterminator.

So, I suppose it is possible.  remember, on the larger jets, there are a lot of nooks and crannies where one could hide.

  3. the movie "airplane"?

if you mean are there rats on commercial airliners then the answer is no.

  4. well.....maybe on easyjet planes!

  5. Do you mean snakes?  Snakes on a plane?

  6. Yes, The "RAT" is a small electrical backup generator that is attached to some aircraft to supply primary or (usually) secondary power. It looks like a fan.

  7. I've seen lots of insects on A/Cs but in fifteen years of tearing them down and opening panels I have never seen any evidence of any rats ever being on board.

  8. I would think that the high altitude would be too much for their ears to handle.  At least that's usually the case with mice & that's why they are rarely found in top floors of high-rises.

  9. Theres going to be very few of them and someone is going to notice if there are since almost every single area of a plane gets inspected regularly.

  10. It does happen, but it is not common.  Airliners are fumigated from time to time.

If you want to see rats in airplanes, go look at some older cargo planes, especially in the Far East.  I had to chase a Possum out of the C-118 that I flew in the Pacific in the late 1970s.

  11. where ever man is, rats will be also,

  12. Only when management personnel are onboard.
