Are there really Disneyland technical tours? If so, how do I sign up for one? Are cameras allowed on the tours?

  1. I never heard anything called Disneyland technical tours before.

    Who told you that?

  2. I haven't heard of any technical tours but here is a list of available tours:

*"A Walk in Walt's Footsteps" Tour All Time Favorites

*Cruzin' Disney's California Adventure® Park New

    *Discover the Magic Tour

    *Welcome to Disneyland Tour

    *VIP Tour Services

You can find more information on the tours here: http://www.wdwinfo.com/Disneyland/plan/t...

  3. I have taken two tours at Walt Disney World in FL. One at the Magic Kingdom where we went to the underground tunnels and the workings behind the park the guests see, and one at Animal Kingdom where we went back behind the rides where the animals are kept. We got to pet a black rhino and see where all the food for the animals were prepared.

I signed up by calling the Disney reservation line. Some tours you have to be 16. NO cameras are allowed. They do enforce that rule. There is a fee for the tours. We loved both of them and would recommend doing one.

    Keys of the Kingdom- MK

    Backstage Safari- AK

  4. Disneyland does not offer any tours of its backstage facilities. There is, as has been mentioned, a backstage tour offered at Walt Disney World. Cameras are not permitted.

In 2008, Adventures by Disney, a travel and tour company owned by the Disney corporation, is offering a new tour. It will take guests to the Imagineering complex, to El Capitan Theater, and backstage at Disneyland. Cameras are permitted but restricted, in other words there are some areas you are not permitted to take photographs.
