  3. i am a native of dallas, texas born and raised here all my life for 43 years now no one here talks like boomhower at all ever unless they are just drunk as a skunk in just yacks about any thing under there breathe all the time and they sound like boomhower

K that's funnier than h**l cause my friends that live next door say the same thing you just said are even she says christ on croutches and never heard any one say it like she says it she is to funny

  4. Maybe out in the sticks, but normally, no! If they did I'd have to move lol

  5. Well, yes there will be people in every state that talk like him. He is Definitely a full blown REDNECK. Any body who is a real Texan would know that everybody here has a accent. I am from Ft. Worth I have a very strong Texas accent(drawl). When I am with my family most people who are not from Texas will think we are like Boomhower, but I think they exaggerated Boomhower a little bit.

  6. No. I have lived in Dallas for 29 years.

But, in Texas, we have stupid sayings... Such as:

"Don't let your mouth overload your @$$."

"I feel like a one legged man in an @$$ kicking contest"

But, we can talk like Boomhauer on comand though. It's in our blood.  LOL

  7. Haha. I live in Dallas, and nobody talks like that. Everybody in the major cities like San Antonio, Houston, and of course Austin, are pretty urbanized. I do know that if you come to Dallas with huge boots, a giant cowboy hat, and a strong Southern accent, you will be noticed because it's not that common.

  8. Oh yes, and worse!

Why the thumbs down?  If you don't believe me, just go to any small town outside of a major city.

  9. My favorite part was Boomhower singing...He sang perfect and clearly.  This was an episode where the little girl Connie's violin playing turned country and the guys formed a band then Connie bailed and they tricked some real country band member to do the fiddle instead.  But when Boomhower sang it was perfect.

As far as people speaking like that, no.  I've heard thick accent, but this a huge exaggeration, but sadly I do understand most of what he is saying.
