Are there really a such thing as 200 amp alternators?

these guys say get a 200 amp alternator. someone even told me to get a 400 amp alternator. i didnt even think they went that far. but i've went to audio stores and ive been told that the highest is a 120 amp. now is this true or false. because for all that i'll put the regular 65 amp alternator back in my 88 acura legend and have the audio store fix everything till theres no problem.

Did you even check the links I provided? Right on the front page of the excessive amperage site. "Alts from 200 Amp and up" The guy at the stereo shop who told you they only come up to 120 amp is an idiot. Take your car to him and you're sure to have more problems.

If you put another 65 amp alt on the car. You will kill it again.
