Are there really any lucrative and safe internet businesses?

There are, but they are not necessarily easy to do.  If you have a special skill that can become profitable.  There is no easy just set it up and watch the money flow in kind of thing though.  Think about what you are good at and have an interest in.  Look for opportunities that aren't being serviced right now and get into the niche.
