Actually, there could be a whole buch of strategies. For one, find out the most common number. Second, find out the last 3 lotto draws and cancel out those numbers. Thirdly, you could always have base numbers, which mean using the same numbers each game and getting another ticket, where you choose the numbers. Just do whatever you find out as you play. It tends to get a little easier and more stragetized.

The fact that you could even ask this question means that you know nothing about strategy or odds.

The most favorable Keno wager mathematically is to bet on one single number. Since different casinos offer different payouts you can gaugue how badly you are being raped.

80 numbers possible, 20 balls selected. Odds of any single number coming up is 25%. Now how much are you being paid.

The odds of getting all 20 numbers is 1 in 3.5 x10 to the 18th. That means if every single person alive today played a ticket every single second of their entire lives, you might have one winner.

The odds at Keno range from 10% to 66% against you. Anyone that plays with any expectation of winning is brain damaged. Anyone that tells you that any number tends to come up more often than another is delusional. You cannot find a better way of throwing your money down the toilet than by playing Keno, except a state run lottery.

I've known a few people to consistently play Keno, and do fairly well at it.  

For the most part, Keno shouldn't be played with an expectation to make money.  Play it while eating, and give yourself something to do while waiting for food, etc.  Don't get too crazy about it.  

The house edge in Keno is huge, If you're interested in making money, play games where the house advantage is lower, or there is a better system to use.

There was once a man who had insider information on the random number generator in the software that a casinos used for keno.  He reverse engineered it and was able to predict all 6 numbers based on the preveous numbers that apeared.

Before making the payout the casinos investigated him and found he was an employee of the casino.  But he was successful, so it is possible.

No. It's like playing the lottery really. Some methods are explained on the tickets, sometimes or you can look them up. There's the half and half method, corners method and middle method for choosing numbers. I choose my own methods whenever I play it.
