I have been trying to convince my dad to get me an Pod touch for a awhile. But for some strange reason he's telling me that there are bills for Pod touches for a sec i thought he was confused with the Phone. I told him that it was only for the Phone but then he told me that because the ITouch has internet access they give you bills?!?! i really don't believe him but I need some sort of proof.

*If you can please add a something that will convince my dad to get me the IPod touch :) thanks

  1. If you need to pay for the internet access you use, such as going to a Starbucks, then you'll have to pay for that. However, if you use your own internet, there's no extra charge. Apple will not charge you a fee, ever, for internet access.

They'll charge you for songs and other things WHEN YOU BUY them in iTunes, but they won't bill you for internet access.

  2. i have one and there are no bills. wifi is just a free fun thing on the itouch.

  3. no you dont get a bill for the ipod touch.  If you have a wifi you would get a bill for the internet access like normal but there are no additional charges.  Sorry no proff except that i have one.

  4. I don't know about convincing him, but I have an i-touch, and I have never received a bill.

It's not like you make your own wireless network, you can only use the internet by connecting to an already existent network, so no bills. Yeah..

  5. no.. it works as the regular ipod.. and internet works when it is within a wifi location.. you dont get to pay any bills unless you wanted wifi installed at home

  6. Uh...no.

The proof is...just no.  That's just stupid.  You use your OWN internet.
