Are there really flying fish in Jamaica ?

I have yet to see a flying fish in Jamaica but I saw it on this show The Girls Next Door when they went to Jamaica and Kendra saw the flying fish and all the girls were amazed. I want to see one for myself though. I wanna know if there's really any and where can I go to see one. Anyone know ?

  1. Flying Fish I believe tend to stay closer to South America.... They feed on the plankton that flows into the Atlantic Ocean from Venezuela....

    Flying Fish is a part of the National dish of Barbados.

    The waters off Tobago (next to Barbados) also have lots of Flying Fish.  Note-- The flying fish jump in and out of the water mostly when they are trying to escape danger/predators.

  4. Nope, none in j'ca but they r more than u can imagine in Barbados and Trinidad.

  5. Yes, Flying Fish do exist mainly in Barbados (pictured on the dollar coin) and also in Tobago, but not in Jamaica.
