  1. Yes, Afraid so,

Since the fule prices have rised along side inflation airport taxes have risen also, making it over 30% more expensive to fly.

    Hope That Helps

  2. We were going to go to Europe this fall for two weeks. The cruise was booked and we had to cancel because the airlines raised their prices to the point where we can't go. So my family gets to do something else and the money we are getting back we have to put aside to help pay for the higher prices of other things that are going up because of oil speculation and corporate greed.

The primary reason we're not going is because we tend to think long term. The vacation is a great thing for my kids - I want them to be able to see the world while young enough to enjoy it, before life takes over and they are doing the daily work grind. But the amount of money it would cost could mean the difference between them going to college later on, especially since the cost of EVERYTHING is going up.

So - long term savings vs a dream vacation. The security of having a future for my kids overrules any need I have for R&R.

  3. Yah of course! Some People may not have as much money as you don't ask how you can't, i can't.

  4. I am not going to let the high prices stop my family from traveling. my husband works hard so that we can afford nice vacations. We have made other sacrafices. We don't go out to eat and to the movies as much as we used to and I only go to the spa once a month instead of every other week.
