Are there really people who don't want or have a need for friends?

People who wake up go to work, come home, go places by themself, take them self out to the movies, etc etc....don't have even one friend or relative ? Not like some cat person who lives with about 100 cats , but like a normal successful person ?

I'm one of those people.  I'm not an orphan, so I do have relatives.  But I've just never been much of a social person.  I don't need friends to be happy.  As long as I'm entertained by hobbies and have enough money, I never get lonley.  I think what many people describe as lonliness is just boredom they want other people to alleviate.

I am like that. I have my fiance, and his family, and my mom. that's pretty much it. We just hang out with each other. I don't feel the need to have friends...

I'm somewhat like that but I have relatives that live in different parts of the world.  It's very relaxing and I can accomplish the goals that I set for myself uninterrupted.

I don't have a big family and my partner only has his mum and myself. My partner and I don't have many friends either perhaps 1 or 2 each. We just spend time with each other or I will go out on my own - it's boring but sometimes friends are backstabbers and hard to trust.
