Are there recycling bins in your neighbourhood?

  1. yes hopefully, but in my previous neighbourhood l had to carry my recycle garbage 3 blocks away.


  2. In my neighborhood there are only paper recycling bins which are used properly by all of us.I think we are ready to use bins for cans or glass or even batteries, but there are no bins for them.Yia sou

  5. Yes, there are recycling bins for organic material, plastic, metal, glass, paper/cardboard, and batteries. There are separate sets of these 1 block from my house in either direction. There are also recycling bins in the office with additional ones for items like copier toner. Italy is committed to recycling.

As you might know iam in sydney australia..we have had 2 huge new recycling bins /one for refuse and garden matter/the other for plastic bolttles and papper products...the collection is by private contractors..the bins are supplied byt the local councils each council has its own type of bins.and they do get collected every week. and besides that we have a general clean up 3 times a year ..that is we throw old stuff or broken stuff away any thing from beds to your coffe maker..except harzourdous materials .like paint and car batteris... they are strick here if you miss place difrrent material in your bins that are meant for other things..they will not pick your garbage up..if you are caught doing it after the second time..they have inspectors come around and do on the spot checks..any way..ones mans garbage is another mans treasure..
