  1. I believe when they give you the forms you can sign saying its against your religious beliefs.

  2. No.  Although if you can prove it is against your religious beleifs you might be able to get away with it.  I look at it this way, I'd rather vaccinate my kids than subject them to the possiblity of getting one of the diseases the vaccinations guard against.  Small pox isn't pretty and it is currently making a "come back".   See below

  3. I would suggest really reading the legal language on the laws of the state and not taking the school's or the doc's word on those laws. Here in TX, if you are choosing public school, and you're choosing not to vaccinate, the law is that the state is obligated to educate, to provide public schooling to EVERY child. But, you basically have to be a lawyer in order to actually find that in wrote.  Be an advocate for your child! Don't let anyone bully you and don't back down on how you feel! God bless and good luck!

  4. Depending on what state you live in you can claim religious or philosophical exemptions.

The site below gives exemptions by state

  5. I don't know how old your child is, but my husband and I are following an alternative vaccination schedule set up by Dr. Sears.  (We live in Mississippi which is one of the two states that you cannot claim religious or phylisophical exemptions for vaccines...only medical which are next to impossible to get.)

By following this alternative vaccination schedule, the child will still have received all the needed vaccinations by school age, but only receive about two at a time instead of SIX!  Dr. Sears also has them grouped so that the child is receiving only one mercury containing vaccine per visit.  By receiving only two, a baby's/child's immune system can handle the vaccines easier instead of being overloaded.  We also like that if there is a reaction, it will be easier to narrow it down between two vaccinations instead of six.

Your child will go more frequently to the doctor since the vaccines are spread out which could mean more office co-pays, time off of work (if you do) and gas to get there....but all those things are nothing compared to the health and safety of our  precious daughter.

If you would like more information visit the Dr. Sears website or check out his popular book, Vaccine Book.

I hope this helps.  I know how difficult and confusing this decision can be for a parent.

  6. Not in NJ, I'm not sure about your state.  I know some states are considering legislation that will allow parents to make a choice regarding vaccinations.  Some in NJ are optional, but the mandatory ones must be given in order to attend public school.

It stinks though, because they are so excessive and risky.

    Good luck!

  7. It depends on your district's policy on vaccinations.. call your school district's main office and see.  Our district, if your children are not vaccinated you have to sign waivers that the school can not be responsible for illnesses you child make contract, plus they can refuse to allow your child in school if there is an outbreak.  Good luck

  8. I wondered about this, cause in our state a child cannot go to school unless they have vaccinations. I mean our state is crazy with this............ they let parents choose if they want to get them for their kids, but then tells them they cannot go to school if they do not have them.

  9. The only safe alternative to vaccines is just to not get them, period. If you're in a state which allows you to have philosophical or religious exemptions, then use that to refuse vaccinations. Personally, I wouldn't send my kids to public school either (I homeschool) but if that's your only option, then find out what your state law says about exemptions. A great resource to check out is www.vaclib.org. They have a page which lists exemptions by state, as well as having a wealth of information about the vaccines themselves, side effects, and the many varied toxins they contain. If you want to know more about vaccines in general, read Vaccinations: Deception and Tragedy. I used to get my kids vaccinated on a delayed schedule, but after doing all the research I've done, I flat out refuse them now.
