Are there shops in public places here where I can get a document scanned ? What are these shops called ...?

Most libraries have computer facilities for the public to use and some will have a scanner (I don't know about Bristol but my local library does).  They may only have one scanner connected to one computer though so you may need to specify when you book to use a computer that you need one with a scanner.  Where I live it's free for library members to use the computers but people from outside the area have to pay a £1 but I think that varies from area to area.

I know that Staples (stationery shop at the bottom of the M32) is the only shop in Bristol that allows the public to scan documents.

The library does NOT have a scanner for public use.
