Are there special apartment rates for independant students?

it just seems that even the rent and utilities alone cost more than what i make a month!

Not to mention, car, GAS and insurance! Anything can help right now!! That is except smart remarks.

Look into apartments around the college.  Some of them have special rates and have a deal with the college.  Talk to the college if you can and see if they have any off campus housing.  If your going to a community college then they wont have housing, however I know the community college I go to, has apartments near them and have special discounts for college students.  They also include heat and water, which is a big help.  Try to get something thats as close to school and works as possible, with the way gas prices are now, you will be spending more on gas then tuition.
