Are there still Candy Stripers? What kind of stuff do they do?

...and how old to you have to be to be one? I'm 14 and I'm really interested in the medical field, and I want to do volunteer work of some kind. Thanks for any help/advice! :)

    I'm actually planning to volunteer as a candy striper as well because I'm studying to be a doctor, so it can help me.

  2. At the hospitals where i live they dont have candy stripers. For someone your age you may be able to volunteer in a nursing home. Thats great you want to be in the medical feild. I LOVE being a nurse!
