Are there still protected wildlife rainforests? Where?

When i watch Attenborough - Life of Mammals or others, i see huge beautiful untouched landscapes.

where are some of these places?

do they still exist today?

or are there crunched under skyscrapers?

  1. parts of the Amazon rainforest are impenetrable.

    Much of Sumatra in Indonesia on the Asian continent as well.

    Most of North America's forests have  been disturbed at one time or another, especially withing the Appalachian belt, with the exception of a few National Parks.

    There are several places left around the globe that are unspoiled, these places are typically called "Old Growth Forests"

    but not many there aren't many remaining.

    As well as wonderfully diverse wildlife there are some extreme parasites in the tropical regions of the world so any one going there should consider this last fact first.
