Are there still services held in St Peters Basilica or the Sistine Chapel?

I want to go to a church service in one of Italy's beautiful churches when I visit. Is there a way that I can find out where services are still held?

Yes, there are services in St. Peter's Basilica.

The Sistine Chapel is part of the Vatican Museum.  It is the site of the Papal Conclaves, held when a new pope is elected.  In general public services are not held there, as the Sistine Chapel is very busy with tours during Museum hours.  However, an occasional service is held there, as listed at http://www.vatican.va/news_services/litu...
