Are there still the small sized canned sardines available?

Years ago it seemed that canned sardines were 3-4 inches long packed maybe 8 to 12 to a can. You could get at least four, maybe 6, on a sandwich. Now it seems the sardines are twice that long and packed half that many to a can. And they don't seem as "tender" and "young" as they did in the 60's and 70's.

I buy them at Mediterranean supermarkets...packed in morroco...
