  1. Hi there,

No we dont really have summer schools in Ireland, The only summer schools I'm aware of here, are those teaching English for foreign students.

All schools close mid to end of june (seconary schools getting longer holidays than primary ones) and then open back up in September.

There are a few summer camps here however they would be mostly non academic.

If you really have your heart set on volunteering while you're over here you could check www.volunteer.ie  They may be able to help.

Hope thos helps, best of luck

  2. Do you mean summer schools like in America?

If you do then no there arent.

  3. no there aren't

but there are lots of young spanish, french, italian, portuguese students that come here to study english in the summer months so if you have a degree in english you may be able to teach there

  4. The school years are normal (sept-may/june) there is really only english summer programs you can attend and some of the boarding schools (like Kings Hospital)

  5. There are loads of different summer camps around the place but I don't know of any summer schools.  You might have to look into getting a Garda (Irish police) clearance/vetting form too.  They brought these in here a few years ago for people working with children in a lot of different areas.
