  1. I agree that it does take mutual consent. but, for me to homeschool my son was a decision I made when he was born. I treated and taught him to be advanced. He asked if he could go to school when he was 5 years old and I let him only to be gravely disappointed that the teachers have lost control of the classroom (due to no fault of their own) and how disrespectful the children. I realized then that I didnt want my son in a school where he could be easily influenced by his peers to be sassy and disrespectful and fighting with each other.

He is homeschooled and he enjoys it because we homeschool with another family with children around the same age as my son.

It is better for my family.

    Every family is different.

My husband didnt agree at first but than it realized that I had a point.

  2. don't know what ur tryin to get at

  3. What do you mean by "here"????

And why are you posting as "I'm not a Monkey, ACM ok?, and Maria N"??????????????

In the USA (where this board is located), families decide together to homeschool or not.  It takes the commitment of both parents, even those who are divorced/single to homeschool.

  4. Depends on the family.

In our family it was a mutual decision.

After all, when one's child is abused at one school and almost murdered at another, it's kind of a no-brainer of a decision.
