so i am planning on byuying tickets for an upcoming concert and was thinking about going and waiting in line at the venue for tickets but am not sure if it would be better just to buy them online. i don't care about service charges or anything i am just curious as to whether i have a better chance at getting better tickets at the venue or online through ticketmaster.

  1. it would be better to get them online because you never know at the venue, it might sell out there and then you're stuck out of the concert. at least if you get them online, you know you'll have them.

  2. Ticketmaster and the venues most of the time are selling from the same inventory as TM is just the middleman who sells the tickets for the venue, so its more an issue of what you think will be a quicker experience. Will there be no one at the venue, so that you can walk right up and buy the tickets, or will you be waiting in line. If you  have to wait in line at all I would definitely suggest buying online. That way you can pick and choose what seats you want, or release them back and search again.
