Are there too many immigrants?

In the Irish Republic. On a visit there recently, it appears that every second driver with L plates is a foreign national. (Afro/ Nigeria etc. Now it appears that Irish people will have to emigrate in their 10,000s in order to find work. I find this a little quaint. No wonder they voted NO to Europe.

Yes there is and I wish the Irish would look after themselves and stop this immigration. Keep Ireland Irish and nice.

well its going to happen to every developed country with liberal immigration laws. People hate to accept that nearly all immigration is economically driven. The 'if i go here, i can get more' attitude is eveident throughout europe. Look at the once loverly italian islands that are now filled with africans. This is the future, with the world becoming much smaller through globalisation many poorer countries will simply give up trying. And just head to where they can get more for nothing.

If the Irish want to kick out all the non irish i wouldnt blame them. But dont go and do a 'mugabe' (kick out all the white folk and the country falls apart).

The problem with this subject is that anyone who is against immigration is called racist.  So what?  We have different races because we come from different parts of the world, have different genes, different religions, different languages and different cultures.  All those reasons are why there are so many countries.  A country has borders that are supposed to indicate that crossing a border into someone elses country requires you to abide by its laws and be respectful of its people and culture.  I don't see much respect on any level from the immigrants who pour uncontrollably into the UK and then ignore our laws and civil discipline.  This is all because we have had successive weak governments.  Apart from being a self made millionaire, being an MP is one of the few high paid, high profile and powerful jobs where no

educational qualifications and certainly no high IQ is required. The trouble is that the UK is accepting other EU country's immigrants.  It's time to get out of the EU, flood the channel tunnel and pull up the drawbridge so we can get back to the peace that our fathers and forefathers fought for.

How many is too many They are refugees, who are allowed allowances to enable them to purchase cars. They have to use L plates as they have never driven before.
