Are there too many streets named after famous people or not enough?

  1. I'd say that depends on the city you're in. Often unknown to many, street names tell the story of the town or city. You can tell who had a great ego by naming streets and grids after him(herself) and his kids. Or you can tell who lived in that area when the town was in it's infancy. As for famous names, people will look back through history and wonder why that famous person had a street named after them, thus opening up another journey through history.
