  3. No most of them have 4 lanes and the tunnel goes straight.

Sometimes theres a tol house a few hundred meters outside the tunnel if your near the border

  4. No, there are green arrows or red crosses before you go in, and sometimes a lane will be closed while you're in, also by red crosses above your lane, but there are no traffic lights.

The Holland Tunnel is a highway tunnel under the Hudson River connecting the island of Manhattan in New York City with Jersey City, New Jersey at Interstate 78 on the mainland. The tunnel was originally known as the Hudson River Vehicular Tunnel or the Canal Street Tunnel and along with the Lincoln Tunnel, is one of two highway tunnels under the Hudson River.

Quite funny, would Clifford Milburn Holland have known this; a question in yahoo!answers under travel/europe/netherlands, good fun!

  5. The non-believers say there are none. But I say they exist, yes you read this good, THEY EXIST. They are everywhere and nowhere at the same time. When you think youre just driving trough a peacefull tunnel, they get you! They just appear out of nowhere, and, and, ... They F*cking make you STOP.

  6. No.  There are a few lanes and you are not allowed to change lanes while in the tunnel.  It is a direct pass with no stops or traffic lights.
