Question:

Are there two Aberystwyth's?

Was just looking at Multimap a minute ago. On the Welsh coastline it mentions 2 Aberystwyth's seemingly about 5 miles apart from one another - one near Rhydyfelin, and the other near Llanddeiniol.

Is this right, or is there a mistake on this map?

Thanks in advance

  4. No,there's just one. They are both administerd by the same council, but are in fact two different tribes, both of whom hate each other and often have tribal wars. However, since they are considered the same town, the people of both parts get together on St. David's Day every year and get hammered. Then they have a bloody big fight.

  5. There is only one to my knowledge.

  6. Only one to my knowledge. Seems like multimap have made a mistake  If there is more than one then they would hardly be so close together.

  7. I hope not  - one place full of Welsh people is enough

  8. You are right. It is obviously a mistake. Go to this link & you will see it. The second one on the A487 between Llanrhystud & Blaenplwyf. Email them & tell them.
