Are there two types of side stitches? I get them right below my rib cage, but also right above my hip.?

These stitches don't seem to be connected... I don't necessarily get them at the same time. But I can't seem to find anything about the hip-type of side stitches - am I the only one who gets these?

As far as if there are two types of side stitches, not that I'm aware of.

You could also be dealing with something like gas getting caught in that area (an example only but I have had it happen to me before) but I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
