No, they aren't found there. In the east, they aren't found any further north than Virginia. But you do have harmless northern water snakes, which are often mistaken for cottonmouths (aka water moccasins).

Yeah! but you can keep them....I was gunna wear my penny loafers and instead wore my moccasins to the pool....wink!

I don't think so. Mass just has copperheads and Timber rattlesnakes.
