Are there websites that would help me improve my chess playing?

Friends tell me that my rating would probably be around 1200, but I know that there is plenty of room for improvement.

but if u really want to improve, buy or download(if u can download) chessbase. in chessbase there are openings, the games of the grandmasters and etc.

and another software chessmaster 10th edition. there are many trainings for u to improve in chessmaster
