Are these 800m and 1600m times OK?

I am a 16 year old male in fair-good condition.

800m = 2:36.8

1600m = 5:53

  3. The 1600 is pretty decent but the 800 is really slow. Stick with the 1600 and keep pushing.

    lets just say that i know atleast 3 16 year old girls that would kick your butt...

    you definitelty have potential tho... they are in awesome shape, so im sure if u practiced everyday and got in really good shape you would be surprised by your improveement..

    dont decide if you wanna run based off of how you compare...

    just give it your all... do that and you will feel so good...

    one of my favorite xc races i ever run was one of my worst times due to a lot of hills and mud but i gave it my all and it was soo awesome.

  5. hmm... not bad.. but my friend who is 15 is getting about 5:14 on the mile.

  6. Overall it depends on the person. If you just started track than they are fine times. If you are not new to track then you should work more on them. It depends but they arent too bad.

  7. ya, not bad especially if your not training for them. If you change the fair-good condition into great condition I'm sure you could run faster.

  8. eh they are okay. but im a girl and a couple years younger than you and i get those times.
