Im thinking about swimming on a team.. Im going to use the goggles for both meets and practice..

  1. Just buy a pair and start swimming! Fit is paramount, and no one can tell you in advance which brand/model will work best for you. Sometimes the cheapest pair you can buy is the best. Sometimes the flashiest, most expensive pair simply will not fit and is a leaking mess.

    I would suggest going with the cheap ones (the "Sprint") first.  If those work out, there's really no reason to change. After a little experience, you'll be able to form opinion of what you want, and will know if the extra expense is worth it.


  2. I agree - just buy a pair to practice with - make sure they fit properly.  It's all a matter of personal preference.  We used (and many of the other swimmers on our team) liked using the "Swedish"goggles.  They're cheap.
