  1. ok, im all to helping u on this one...

i really like ur arabesques, but u need to think bout a few things in order to make them prettier!!

    a few things u need to work on;

    1. keep ur hips(headlights) straight and square, this will help with balance

    2. round your hands slightly and straighten ur arms

    3. remember to always stretch those legs and lift urself from ur core to achieve hieght

    4. important!!! do not tense ur shoulders!! keep them soft and also - square on!

    5. try not to pop out ur rib-cage - but still remember to breath when u suck in last night's spagetti! lol.

    6. ok, this is a wierd one - but remember to ALWAYS tense ur bottom muscles to get good balence so u can start to work on ur turnout!

(the best way to do this is to ly on the floor face down, straight legs and pointed toes. bring pointed to up to a full retire slightly above knee DO NOT SICLE!!!)

(also try standing up next to a wall and pressing feet out and stretch hard. do this a few times a day!)

(ur feet will feel tough after this so try rolling a golf ball around on the floor with ur foot! apply pressure though ur foot into the floor)

to achieve good results only takes a few weeks, u will see improvement in ur classes regularily!

    7. And most of all lift your head up and keep smiling!!☺

  2. your front arm is too high...eye level only...

too get it higher lean forward a little...tilting forward will make ur leg seem higher...

  3. go to a real ballet school to get a real arabesque!!!!that needs a lot of work but you have a good start!well keep working on them!!!!remember to hold your head up and don't look down!also work on your arms.i suggest going on google images and type in some famous ballerina's name the put arabesque after it and then u can c how it should look!!!!!!!!!good tho

  4. its a really nice arabesque!!

-stretch your knees more on your left.

    -TURNOUT YOUR FEET!

and then after that just keep practicing your strength

    and you'll get better!!

  5. wow very good act.

keep your arm at eye level.

also to get them higher  lean forward a little...tilting forward will make your leg seem higher

    hope i helped.

    :)

  6. I would actually say the opposite. I understand that you want your leg higher. But you don't want to cheat your way up there. By lowering your upper body, yes, you can stretch your leg higher. But if you do that too much, you start to border a Penche'e. If you are going to alter your body, stretch your upper body forward and up. NOT DOWN!! Work your flexibility from your splits. Arch back. AND stretch forward.  And, yes, your arm is too high. Your energy should come from underneath and shoulders should be back. Head should be up and back as well. Not gawking forward. Remember. The measure of a good dancer IS technique. But the measure of a GREAT dancer is . . . "Does it look effortless?".  Nobody wants to see the work you put into it. Here's a good pic of what to go for.

    Good Luck!

  7. Your arabesques are okay...but your arm's too high. Keep your head in line with your arm. The leg in arabesque should be at the same level as your head or higher. To get them higher, do splits and bend back. You can also do arabesque ponches (pon-SHAYS) and put your leg in attitude and put your knee on the barre.

  8. You look like you have the potential to be a beautiful dancer! Some things to think about are: 1) relax your shoulders/try to keep them down; 2) think about keeping your torso square or to the front; 3) you have a long beautiful line, but don't take it for granted, keep thinking about reaching up and backward with your arabesque leg and keep the knee straight and rotated as much as you can; lastly, 4) try to keep your front arm just above eye level, if its too high it disrupts the line of the body in arabesque, but its some people's aesthetic choice, it can be done either way.

Good luck with dance and keep up the good work!!

  9. wow there really good...just stretch more to get them higher...but were your at now is really good as welll...

  10. there great! lol just ur bottom foot/leg is a bit turned in on the first photo but overall good

  11. i thought they were really good , but on your left you need to lower your arm a little. If you want to get your leg higher do gruesome stretch  and just stretch  , also work on strength so if you do get  them higher you can hold them there.

  12. amazing but back arm is too high and ur thumbs are sticking out rly bad so just lower the back arm ans put ur thumbs back in and theyll be perfect!!!

i dont think you need to get higher but if u want to just stretch 3-5 times a week and theyll be higher in no time at all

  13. Your arabesque on your left leg is better than your right BUT I do like your body positioning on the right-it just needs a bit more tweaking.

On the right, bring your upper body up a bit more (even though it does lower your leg) -it looks better. Perfect arm line. Extend the neck.

On the left drop the arm heaps! Your leg also seems a little bent but this cant be easily fixed. Your left hand is beautifully placed. Nice upper body, but make sure your hips are square.

Its actually a really nice arabesque :)

    I hope this helps
