They are kind of low but it depends on where you want to go. Definitely try to take them again if you can, I suggest, and practice, practice, practice! Again if where you want to go accepts these scores, then you have nothing to worry about. Next time, aim for a 500 or better though.. that's the average.

There really isn't such thing as a "bad" SAT score. What matters is if the scores are good enough to get you into the school you want.  The average total is about 1550 or so.  My total was 1800 and I have to take mine again because I want to go to NYU...but if you're not aiming for Ivy League your scores are fine.

It all depends on where you want to go! Check out the websites of the schools you want to go to! Also, don't stress you can take it as much as you want. If you aren't happy just prepare as much as you can for your next test!
