ive had a few etnies and they are very durable and they wont get dirty easily cuz they are brown suede or nubuck...

skate shoes are in style right now so those are good shoes to have

generally they are very comfy cuz they have so much padding

Alternatives: DC, Emerica, Adio, DVS, ES, Lakai, Fallen, Circa, Globe...

I don't find Etnies to be very good skate shoes.

I would go with a pair of DC.
