  1. K2 skis are kinda **** to be completely honest they ski like bacon and you can't do anything big mountain. I would suggest a 170 stockli XXL or perhaps a nordica supercharger around the same size. What you want to look for is something with a little wider under foot for big mountain but if your using for both that and park you will not want to go too big.

  2. The K2 is a very good and popular brand, the model and length will depend on your skill. Your height and weight suggest a stiffer ski and about a 160 cm for your ability, maybe a 150.  Both models are good high performing for many skiers. Go to a demo day and try them before you buy. One of the models had a 23 M turn radius which is long for park and switch purposes. A radius less than 17M is too tight for the same purpose.  I did notice that the website shows that several lengths and models are sold out, so you may have to search for the one you want.

  3. K2's are really good ski's. My trainer uses them and heis really good. He is a double black diamond skier and he never has any problems with his ski's

    =)

    Good Luck

  4. i would personally recommend an Armada brand if you go to http://armadaskis.com/ then and check out there skis just go to products and then skis. check out the variety and it gives you stats on which are for park and pipe and which is for all mountain its my personal opinion. i have had the k2 fugitives 08 and i didn't think they were as great as the (more expensive) t-hall park and pipe skis but its up to you

  5. Do you do ride switch a lot? Are you most interested in a park ski?  I'd get something more "all-mountain" unless you're really into tricks.

(I find it really funny when my friends have twin tips, but they'd never dream of skiing/jumping switch!)

  6. I would wait until next year the fujative are going to be called the kung fujas and are slightly stiffer and wider underfoot and is geared for a more all-round ski I believe the waist in in the region of a 92 compared to (what I currently have 07 fujatives) 85 waist.

now Id go for a 165 anything smaller at your height will be no good for powder. Im the same size and almost weight and my big mountain ski is a 189 and my park is a 179 but that comes with experience and Ive been skiing since I was 4.

those fujatives have hinge points either end of the binding mat which helps pop and butter in tricks. they are the softest of k2's factory range (I only ride k2)

The silencer is based on th 04-05 public enemy ski which was a big favorite and I had those skis and they rocked!! great all mountain very stable ski.

BUT if I were you with what you are looking for Id  go for the public enemy which is for absolutly everything

an alteranative would be volkl, line or salomon are bringing out some great stuff in 09 loads of rockered

  7. i like the second 1, but it would probly be best to go to a ski shop

  8. Neither of those two are the greatest big mountain ski, but they will work decent still.  My friend has some fujatives, they're pretty nice skis but arent the greatest in powder compared to a fatter ski.  They're still a great ski for park and all mountain though.
