  1. Yah. Im a seventh grader and i run in meets my 1600 ir 6 min, and 400 is like 150 so your good

  2. your 400 is good but if your doing all those events in one day its kind of hard to stay at a consistant time

try plyometric excersises to increase power and speed

  3. yeah your times are good especially your mile time... thats not bad for a freshmen.. im a freshmen and im getting the same times as you. Id just keep doing what youve been doing, your times are good for the grade that your in

  4. yea they are pretty decent.  im in 9th grade as well but my 800 time is a little faster than urs as i ran a PR of 2:04.09.  i never tried the 1600 (i might try it next year though).  i was also never officially timed in the 400 this year either.  keep it up though.

O and to the marisssa poster, there is no way you are an 8th grade girl running a 2:01.  I'm sorry but the fastest female high schooler in the country runs a 2:03 and the fastest college runner has ran a 2:01 so there is no way an 8th grade girl has ran this time.

  5. those are great times! keep up the good work!

  6. Yea.  I'm a girl in 8th grade and these are my times

    1600- 4:48

    800- 2:01

    400- 0:55

    So you are really good

  7. Yeah, those are really good for a freshman. I mean, from what I've heard, guys improve a TON over their high school careers. Seriously, chances are, you're going to get a ton better. And ignore that idiot eighth grade girl who's trying to claim her times are as good as yours. There are a select few 8th graders who can run sub 5:30, let alone less than 5 minutes. xD But yeah, keep practicing and a mixture of hard work and...well...growing up will definitely get you into shape for some serious varsity meets. Actually, you'd already be a varsity distance guy at my school. xD

  8. You didn't say if you were a girl or a boy, but our son is  a 9th grader also, and state track is today.  Here are some of the slowest times that qualified for state: (for boys)

    400 - 52.6

    800 - 2:07

    1600 - 5:00.6

As you can see, you have a great time in the 1600, and a competitive time in the 800.  Just keep practicing!  I think you times are good (for a boy - if you are a girl, your times are EXCELLENT)

  9. ya those are great times. the fastest freshman in our school runs a 4;55 so thats great! i agree about that about that marissa girl she could not run a 201.

  10. im a senior

    i get

    400-:52

    800:1:56

    1600:4:50

i mostly jus run the 800 tho

but ur times are better than mine wen i was a freshman

  11. yea

  12. yeah, these are really good, and im assuming your a boy.

You will surely improve as you go through high school.
