On Fathers Day "protesters dressed as Spiderman, Batman, Superman and The Incredibles forced their way into the court and chanted "What do we want? Justice. When do we want it? Now." ... "We went to HSBC bank because they collect money for the CSA" [Child Support Agency]

Are these guys superheroes, or just a bunch of deadbeat dads?

  1. They are, as far as I am aware, campaigning for fathers access, rather than just being 'deadbeat dads'.

I am pro fathers rights. But I think they could probably have a greater effect on the law by launching cases. Their form of protest seems a bit lacking.

  2. i think yes they are superheros Even they don't have supernatural powers but walking in the street in public wearing these cloths , it needs a great strength and boldness.

  3. lol go f4j!

  4. Those men are superheroes IMO.  They're fighting for father rights. They have my full support.  I wish I could be right there to protest along side with them.

  5. They sound like a comedy act.

I see their point though. My brother is in this situation with his own kids. I had to talk him out of the Batman costume though....he doesn't have the physique for it.

Also - Deadbeat dads never want to pay for their children, but these guys just want to support their kids without having two thirds of their income forcibly stolen.

  6. Over all, men are not being treated fairly by the courts, so, these protestors are Super Heros. I hope they can make a difference.

    Best wishes. :o)

  7. Sheepydaisy- You make a good point, but seeing how the courts don't exactly treat fathers on equal footing with mothers these days, I don't think it would work very well.

I think they're making a very good point in a good way, so long as they're not vandalizing anything or attacking people.  I like how one guy wants to keep it from getting out of hand, at least at this point.  From what I've seen-which I'll admit isn't a lot- I don't have any problems with it.
