My new White Eyed Conure named Fighto likes to say:

Hello (in both a male and female voice)

Give me a kiss

Vicky (from previous owner)

Bwak Bwak Bwak Bwaaaak!! (When we say are you a chicken he does thsi)

I can talk

Meow (still not very clear though)

i was wondering because I want to teach him some new words but I don't want his brain to be fried. What other good phrases and words should I teach him? Thanks for your help!

  1. I have a sun conure and I must say you are very fortunate yours talks. As conure's are not known for their talking ability. We have never been able to get ours to talk or even mimic the wolf whistle. I have a blue & gold macaw as well, and he too also says, bwak bwak bwak bwaaaaakk!! As well as many other words and sounds. He even says a few choice words I would prefer him not to say. Thanks to my teenagers. lol. Most of the neighbors laugh to see a macaw bwaking like a chicken. Just be consistent with the new words you want your baby to learn and only introduce one to 2 words every month or so. give him or her time to get the "mimic" down. You couldn't possibly fry its little brain as birds love to mimic and learn. They are constantly looking to absorb new knowledge and need the constant stimulation.

  2. my sister in law had a parrot that liked to say, "Birds can't talk."

    theres the classic: "Nevermore!"

    "Whazzzzup?"

  3. i once had a bird, that had a mirror, and when he looked in it, he said " imma pretty boy"

that would be cool to teach him.

  4. You could do "I'm an eagle" or teach him to bark like a dog.

  5. well i have 5 suggestions

1.you can teach him his name

    2.feed me

    3.goodbye

    4.goodnight

    5.god bless you
