  1. I had a similar lock for my bike when I was attending Northeastern in Boston and my bike stayed right when I locked it up. I might check a few other sites that post reviews, the low price makes me a bit suspicious

  2. "D" or "U" locks are much harder to break into than cable locks, etc. You basically need an axle-grinder to get through them.

If you're going to get one though, try not to get a design which uses a round cylindrical shaped key:

  3. Extremely easy. You could pick it, and depending on the key, you could also force it open (Through the keyhole).

Take a look at the key. The lock is sturdy, but the weakest link in the chain is always the key. The simpler the key, the easier it is to crack.

  4. yer i should be plenty good enuff. most people would lok at the lock and think thats gunna be hard to breake so they keep walking

  5. The U-Bolt locks are the best, but get one with a round key. Also, depending on how much weight you want to carry on your bike, get a cable to go with it. You want to use the U-bolt on the frame to the rack you are locking it to, but run the cable through both wheels. If you have enough room and a long enough cable, go through the saddle as well. Anything that can be easily taken off you want to have the cable go through. Seats and wheels are commonly taken off locked bikes because of quick releases. They make things to replace the quick release on a bike. And if you aren't constantly moving the seat height and taking off the wheels, those may be a good investment if you park your bike in a dangerous area.
