O.K if I were an adult, I would rather be named Vivienne than Madeleine. In my opinion Madeleine is too childish. And I hate the nickname Maddie. Vivienne Elise, love it. I love the name Vivienne. It does not sound too old fashion or old lady like as some have said. It is french. How about Vivienne Antoinette?

First of all congrats on the twin. I am a mother of nine children, (I did not know multiple sets of twin ran in my family).

I LOVE LOVE LOVE those names. Absolutely adore them. My sister is pregnant with her first child, and she (at my advice) is naming her Vivienne. It is a great name. And I adore Isabella.  

Really great jobs. These are great names that will mature with your child, and they will grow to love them.

Isabella is a beautiful name, I think you should name one Isabella and the other Maddy. there both wonderful names.

Madeleine and Vivienne...aww. Not sure about the spelling. Instead of Vivienne, try Vivian.

It might also be cool, as an inside joke, to make the names anagrams of each-other! An anagram is where you can rearrange a word or phrase to spell something diffferent using the same letters.

So you could name one Alice and the other Elcia, or something.

Madeleine, to me, doesn't really feel like a good name to go with Vivienne. I always liked these names:

*Maria (I particularly like this one)

*Ashleigh (or Ashley)

*Alesha (or Alisha)

*Sarah

*Carla

I like, Isabella Elise. I like that some of the older names are coming back they have a certain elegance about them. Vivienne is French and her friends may call her "Vivi" for a cute nickname!  My BFF's daughter is Madeline ( Maddie) Congrat's on your baby!

This is just a suggestion.. Since Madeleine's middle name is Isabella how about Rosabelle for Vivienne's middle name.. it just sounds cute :) Both names actually sounds good for their first name too..
