Are these names too "fancy"?

Question

I'm always dreaming up names for my future children.

I've come up with a few I love, and I want some opinions..

For girls..

- Juliet Isabella

- Lacy Elizibeth (spelled wrong on purpose)

For boys..

- Aiden Tyler

- Jarek Allan

I feel like the girls names sound too fancy. What do you think?

i don't think they are fancy - i think they are very feminine. i love Juliet Isabella. don't care for Lacey.

Boys names are good ones.  Juliet Isabella is good.  Lacey (that's the way to spell it, I strongly believe) is a name with great potential, but it should be paired with a middle name that comes from a family name (such as your mother's maiden name).  It will sound more dignified and less fancy and frilly.  So, her name might be something like Lacey Johnson Taylor or Lacey Schuster McBride.  See what I mean?

Ella Brianne, and Juliet Isabella (I think Isabelle goes better)... are both very pretty.

Aiden is so over used I really can't stand it anymore. Tyler is a nice middle name. Jarek to me just doesn't sound good... Jared, or Jaren would be much nicer.

I actually love the names you chose. Except, I'd changed 'Juliet Isabella' to 'Isabelle Juliet'. And I'd change 'Lacy Elizibeth' to 'Elizabeth Lacy'. The boys names are good too, but you could consider making 'Aiden Tyler', 'Allen Tyler' and changing 'Jarek Allan' to 'Jarek Aiden'. ;))

I think all the girl names are really pretty, and there's nothing wrong with a name being fancy, classic names are better than made up names like Nevaeh. I do like Elizabeth spelled right though, don't like your spelling.

Out of the boy's, I don't like Jarek. Try Jared or Jarrett.

How about Julia Isabell? Similar yet not as "fancy". I love the name Jarek, it's very cute! I'm sorry you hate the name Ashley, I happen to love it! ;) Good luck!

I don't think they are too fancy.  You want your child to have a uniqueness to their name, not just a Jane Smith.  Older girls names that have not been used in a while are "in fashion".

Ella Brianne sounds beautiful! fancy names are good because then your kids won't have common names. They'll stand out in a good way with their fancy name. Aiden does sound pretty nice too. You could use Aiden Allan...
