Are these ok ideas for a stag and hen do?

we are getting married in 3 months and will be having out hen/stag night a few weeks before the big day. now my fiance doesnt even want a stag do and while i would like a big hen party i think it would be unfair to ask people to go if they cant afford it and limit those who can come so i thought about doing this!

for my fiance a poker night at our house. i would decorate the place so it looked like a las vegas casino and cook some 'mini' foods like burgers, hotdogs whatever and nibbles for them and lots of beer!

for mine i am struggling for ideas. i was thinking about maybe a cocktail party with a ann summer rep coming or something. anyother ideas for me? just something that has a theme and i can do in the house. will be 8 people coming to both the stag and hen (obv we will have it on diffrent days)...also want to hire a stripper for my fiance for his stag..would that be ok? thanks.

I love the poker night theme, but a stripper would only interrupt them!

For you, yeah an Ann Summers party is usually a raucous laugh, vodka jelly would go down a treat too!

the ann summers party sounds like fun, you could buy some stuff to take on honeymoon! What about dressing up in costumes and having a night up town, that's what everyone does where i come from.As for him getting a stripper,would you be really happy with that? i know i would'nt!

Anything you want to do is ok, as long as its ok with the both of you. You can get him a stripper if you like, as long as you are happy with it. But isn't that the job of the best man to arrange the stag do? By the sounds of it, are you going to be there on the stag with him if you are going to do all the cooking?

As for you, yes an ann summers party would be a good idea. They are a fun entertaining evening. and maybe you could purchase some bits for the honeymoon..... ;o)

Future wife organising a stripper for the stag night? - no I don't think so, seems kinda weird.  That would be something the best man might do, but not you.  And the maid of honour should be organising the hen night.  How about having a word in her ear and getting her to organise a male stripper for your hen night?  Much more fun.

It should be the best man that organises the stag do and the chief bridesmaid that organises the hen do - organising you own parties just aint fun!
