  1. try superantispyware  too

  2. I found NON of the boughten ones work as well as these:

    They are all FREE !!!!

    Computer Maintenance

    Advanced WindowsCare V2 Personal

    http://www.iobit.com/advancedwindowscare...

    CCleaner

    http://www.ccleaner.com/

    Spybot S&D

    >>...>.......http://www.safer-networking.org/en/>.......

    Ad Aware 2008

    http://www.download.com/ad-aware-2008/30...

    Avira AntiVir® PersonalEdition Classic....

    http://www.free-av.com/

I've been using them all for over two years now.

They are all compatible with each other and Windows XP and Vista as well as older versions of Windows and Linux.

You will have a trouble free, clean, green, mean machine.

  3. That should cover it

  4. No. you're not missing anything. I can recommend you on a very good anti spyware reviews site. (below).

  5. * Staying secure no longer means simply avoiding e-mail attachments from people you don’t know. Hundreds of thousands of websites are newly infected with malicious software every day, and many of these sites are perfectly legitimate. They are increasingly being victimized by sophisticated hackers.

    * Make your Internet Explorer more secure with the WOT add-on - http://www.windowsmarketplace.com/detail...

    * Practically all Spyware and Hijackers etc. tend to target 'Internet Explorer' and not other browsers. If you don't mind switching your browser, then you should switch and immediately greatly reduce your risk of infecting your computer. I would recommend Mozilla Firefox.

*** Other then that... You should be OK.

  6. those should be fine if you dont do retarded stuff on ur computer like download any random c**p and programs and open spam mail and go on websites that have like a gazillion pop ups

  7. so far as we know, there's no absolutely secure network as long as your pc is connected to Internet, and also of course, there's no absolutely secure software can protect your pc no risk at all.

What we can do is to prevent our pc from the potential dangerous far away.

several network monitor do very well in this field. Like ethereal, ominpeek, capsa, sniffer. here I wanna recommend Capsa to everyone of you. not only easy-to-use, but alos has many exllent features that can help you monitor your network well.

you can go to http://www.etherlook.com/?promid=ask to have a try.

  8. That should be OK. Your "spyware" program also checks for adware. The only thing I do differently is that I use two different adware/spyware programs since no single one catches it all.

  9. yes. these are very imp things if u r using internet,

Try anti virus with fire wall...like Bit defender, Kaspersky,

there is one thing...one virus killler dont catch all the viruses so u should be carefull when selecting
