Are these okay prices for my garage sale items!?!?

Having a garage sale this weekend and wanted opinions on how i priced things!! Should i go less/more?! whatev!!

-Going out tops/ cute graphic T's/ jeans - $2

-Dresses/sweaters/jackets - $5

-Belts - 50cents

-Books(nice hardbacks) - 50cents

-Hats - $1

-Movies(vhs) - 50cents

-Flip flops - $1

-Shoes/Heels - $2

-Futon - $20

-Stair Stepper workout thing - $25

-Regular T-shirts - 50cents

-Small purses- $1-$2

-Large purses/bags- $3-$4

- NICE backpacks - $5

-All jewelry - 10cents each

-Sunglasses - 50cents

Sounds about right to me...and I've done many sales... remember you can always come down or reduce them after a few hours!  Hats and shoes don't usually sell well!

YES I think that's pretty good prices after all yards sales are to get rid of things you dont want or need anymore.

Whenever I go to yard sales I hate when people want to charge a lot for stuff they are just gonna throw out eventually anyway.

Whenever I have a yard sale EVERYTHING is really cheap so people will take the items out of my way Good Luck with your yard sale!

sounds really good to me!  Actually sounds about the same as most garage sales I have gone to.  My husband and I do a lot of "garage sale" ing every other weekend in the summer. We've done this for 12 years and I did it before I married my husband. Doing this also gave us our ideas for prices when we had our own yard sale 3 summers ago for the first time!

Depending on the quality I personally would go a bit higher, though, on the futon and put it at about 1/2 of what you can get one for at say Walmart if it is in pretty good condition.  Like the answer above you can always haggle the price or drop it later if you notice a lot of people looking but not buying it.  But I wouldn't go any lower than $15 for it unless you really want to get rid of it on the last day of your sale.
