  2. Both sentences are grammatically correct.. When using Microsoft  Office, the computerized grammar checkers can pick out a passive voice and ask you to revise it to a more active voice. The voice used to indicate that the grammatical subject of the verb is the recipient (not the source) of the action denoted by the verb. There is nothing  wrong with the passive voice, but avoid passive sentences when possible.

  3. yes the first one is gramatically correct. The second one is too but if you are asking where the party was held you have to change it to where was you party held?
