They've served me very well, but are they good enough to use for tennis?

  1. that depends on you and your feet, i guess if there expensive, the won't do any damage..

  2. I don't do tennis, but those shoes look like they would be good enough to use in a game with tennis. I mean, they are called Running shoes and you do run in tennis a lot.

  3. NOT REALLY

  4. yes :)

  5. well.. no, i don't think so

buy some tennis shoes, k ?

because if you don't, your shoe will have a hole in the bottom of it from the tennis courts

that's what my coach told me

  6. those shoes look more like a running shoe, very easy to turn an ankle. Not real stable for the lateral movement of tennis

  7. no they are running shoes

  8. They are fine. All they need to be is comfortable.

The only thing I would be concerned with is that the mesh tops will be easily ripped open by all the sudden stopping you do in tennis and if you drag your toes at all.

  9. Okay.  A lot of the people who are saying "no" are saying so because they are not specifically tennis shoes.  And they are kinda right.  If I were to use those shoes, I would have a hole in the left toe in about a week.

But my question to you would be, how hard are you on shoes when you play tennis?  If you are just a casual player, those shoes will be fine.  If you are more competetive, or play at a more advanced level, then you'll probably want something made specifically for tennis.

Like I said, if you are just playing for fun, almost any shoes will work, as long as they have non-marking outsoles.

  10. Not really.  Running shoes are designed for running only.  Tennis shoes are designed for running and lateral movement.  Tennis has lots of lateral movement.  You might want to get a pair of tennis shoes if you are serious about playing tennis.  Good luck :)

    Here are some:

  11. no, i dont think so.

you can pick up a decent pair of tennis shoes for cheap tho

  12. i don't think so, those are running shoes, you should find some tennis shoes, they'll be better.-

but if you're confortable with those and already have them, yo should use them.-

  13. Running shoes are specifically designed for running. U should get a pair of tennis shoes if u are going to be a serious and competitive player. Tenniswarehouse.com has cheap ones that are still great for playing in. I highly reccommend getting real tennis sneakers.
