  1. these shoes won't work for volleyball.

i also live in texas and volleyball shoes here run as cheap as $35 but then again some are $150 or so. you just need to look around. check local ads. and try sporting good stores... we have places here called academy and sports authority that are pretty cheap. you just need to get out there and look around... GOOD LUCKK!

  2. If your going to be playing in HS i suggest you go to a sporting goods store and ask for specific volleyball shoes. volleyball shoes need to bend as well as being supportive for your ankles. I use mizunos and i absolutely love them. They are also what my HS buys for all our teams.

If the coach makes you run outstide, you can bring extra running shoes and just change into them.

    For practice you need:

Something to keep your hair out of your face

    T-shirt

    Sports Bra

    Spandex

    Knee pads

    Short or long socks

    Court Shoes

And if you would like, ankle braces.

    Lots of water!

As far as bags, it really doesnt matter. My girls bring everything from small drawstring bags to large backpacks. Basically whatever fits all the stuff you need.

    Have fun!

  3. NO!!...you can get severely hurt with these shoes.  They look like  they don't have a great grip in the bottom.  There are alot of websites that sell cheap volleyball shoes.  Just research with patience and you'll find one around.  Good Luck

  4. They probably aren't. But Nike's are probably your best choice. You might wanna bring an extra pair, just in case.

Make sure your bag is big enough to hold one extra pair of clothes (because you will likely take a shower afterwards right?), knee pads, water bottle, and volleyball. And all your usual things (deodorant, etc...)

    Hope this helped,

    The Awesome One :D

  5. no those are not but these are on sale at footlocker

for a little more you can get good sneakers at a good price. Also try ebay and you might get a good cheap pair also.

    good luck

  6. I perfer to not use those. For volleyball you need a shoe that can bend. I perfer using puma thats what i use. Anything really with a bend. I boguth my pumas at a department store. Anything with a flexiable show.

I use the same shoe for running in volleyball and court time. For clothes wear a white tshirt, becuase you can sweat alot ( i dotn know if you have a sweating problem but thats what i perfer) shorts or either spanedex. And for size bag it doesnt matter. A slong as you can fit your kneepads and water in there your all good. And by the way bring alot of water.

And tips for volleyball. Be very loud. The louder you are the more the coach will notice you and they like loud people becuase then they'll call the plays.

  7. i would have to say no

if you cant afford vballl shoes (expensive i know)

    then get running shoes

or a simple nike or puma shoe

and my hs coach never made us run outside..but everyone is different :)

as for bags, i just bring a sling bag with my knee pads in it, carmex, maby a brush, ect.

and for clothes i wear lightweight tank tops and cotton or spandexx shorts

    :)

those shoes look like they have no grip at the botton

    and you NEED grip!

  8. Those aren't right for volleyball. If you can't afford volleyball shoes, which really aren't that expensive, try running shoes or tennis shoes. Don't use the ones in that picture.

  9. no, i don't think so.

v-ball sneakers are like $35 where I live (texas)

bring extra shoes if he makes you run outside.

just wear a t-shirt and non-basketball shorts. like soccer shorts.

it doesn't matter what size bag, just make sure it's suitable for pads, shoes, water bottle, et cetera...

    :D

  10. Those shoes are really not good for volleyball, but if you have to use them you need to find some way to protect your ankles.  You could but a good brace, but if you did that you might as well just buy volleyball shoes.  So I guess if you have to use those shoes you should have someone wrap your ankles with athletic tape.  Another reason that having shoes specifically designed for volleyball is important, is b/c those shoes are made so you can move quickly in any direction.  They're also lightweight, and help support your feet better.
