  1. Looks like a lie to me.

  2. I've seen both names spelled like that before. Ever think that maybe the parents just wanted to be unique?

  3. i couldnt tell you for sure, but i searched them both on Google, and couldnt find anything, so id say it was a lie

  4. How about a third possibility?  Her parents were creative, as many people want to be now.  I heard of a girl named "Cezanne" and a boy "Michaelangelo", in the late 1950s.  Unusual spellings are not new.

Or a fourth option?  Perhaps they were traditional names in the family.

However politely you asked, she may be so tired of getting that question, maybe she was pulling your leg.

  5. Haha, that is pretty strange! I know many people with some pretty weirdly spelled names... Such as...

    Kaytln (no typos, like Kaitlyn)

    Zacgary (Zackary... Kaytln's twin actually)

Mykol (Michael, and she's a girl, and she has a sister named Tensel, almost like tinsel)

Actually, my name's spelled quite...weird... haha now that I think about it... My name's Shonn... like Shawn... only...I'm all... a female. haha, yeah. But I have a sister names Colbie, so we're all just weird and masculine I guess. ;)

  6. As a teacher I can tell you, I have NEVER seen those names spelled that way and I have worked at a predominately African American school.  I would say she's lying to you or she can't spell.
