Are these tele-shopping or Internet shopping any good? Are they reliable?

We are watching television programmes and we are made to watch the ads too. We get interested in some product and go purchase it from any shop. At the shop we see the advertised product, compare prices and then make a decision to purchase it. When we go to watch tele shopping programme, we are shown a product and explained in detail, we decide to purchase and call/sms the number. Thirdly, on the internet we browse shopping domains and after seeing the product's features only we purchase it. Quality, size and whether old or new cannot be guaged. Both these tele shopping and internet shopping, are they any better than direct purchases? Are all these shopping outlets (in television and internet) reliable? If duped how to get redressal?

Offcourse when u are comparing dirct shopping and tele/internet shopping, both have some advantage over the other. As mentioned in direct shopping u can guage the quality/size and other minute details about the product. On the other hand tele/internet shopping u have the risk of understanding the quality/size and other details of the product. Whereas I have been regularly making internet shopping from rediff and am comparatively satisfied. Well as of now u should remember that for any online tranaction should be done with secured websites "https/..." only. This is to ensure that the process is encripted and secure.

Well......we saw an add on the tv of the WorxGT trimmer and you know how they keep saying good things about them and we couldn't find it in any stores so we bought it and then when it came to us and we used it....it isn't as good as they showed it on the tv. Soo...i don't think that you can really rely on those adds.

Not every store is safe and reliable, do your research on a company before buying, and use common sense when you know it is a deal to good to be true/
